Rich Pournelle began his career as staff assistant to congressman Bill Thomas and in this role developed the THOMAS legislative information system for the Library of Congress. Most recently, he was co-founder of WarrantyNow and helped the company raise more than $18 million in equity before its acquisition by CNET. Mr. Pournelle has a communications degree from UCLA.
