Electrical Engineer

XCOR is seeking an Electrical Engineer to assist with the design, building, and testing of electronic circuits and systems for flight vehicles.   BS in Electrical Engineering is required. A strong background in engineering fundamentals is required including specialty in analog circuit design.  A working knowledge of surface mount fabrication techniques is beneficial.  Three years or more of on-the-job experience in circuit design, PCB Layout, and simulation with Spice is preferred although new graduates will be considered.  Strong technical report writing skills are also required.  Applicant must be able to handle several projects at the same time, and must be able to “hit the ground running”.  Must be a complex thinker who is able to meet deadlines, be a self-starter and finisher, and be a team player.

Work will be in Mojave, CA through mid 2015, after which the position will relocate to Midland, TX at a date to be determined.

Salary: dependent on experience.

Must be 18 years or older.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs and climb a 30ft ladder.

Must be a U.S. citizen or hold Resident Alien status (aka Green Card).

Must be proficient in spoken and written standard American English.

Two professional references are required.
