XCOR EZ-Rocket featured at Edwards AFB, CA. Open House and Air Show
Mojave, CA, Monday, October 28, 2002: XCOR announced today that the EZ-Rocket's presence at the Edwards AFB Open House and Air Show on Saturday was a resounding success. The event showcased the aircraft systems and capabilities of the Air Force Flight Test Center, NASA Dryden Flight Research Center, the Air Force Research Laboratory Propulsion Directorate, Marine Aircraft Group 46 and other local and visiting units. "We are very proud to be on display at Edwards AFB,." said, Jeff Greason, XCOR CEO. "It's a great honor to be asked to be part of the air show this year. The EZ-Rocket is a test platform for affordable, efficient, commercial orbital and suborbital applications in space, and is a direct descendent of many of the remarkable planes tested at Edwards AFB. As representatives of the private sector, we are pleased to be included in this unique display of historic and current military and NASA aircraft." The EZ-Rocket was featured prominently at the east end of Hangar 1600, the main static display area for the show. XCOR Aerospace is a California corporation located in Mojave, California.
