Mojave, CA, Wednesday, November 13, 2002: XCOR Aerospace announced today that it has recently received awards from three prestigious magazines. Jeff Greason, XCOR CEO, said "We are very pleased to be recognized by these highly regarded magazines. As a small company in the private sector, these acknowledgements of our work mean a great deal to all of us at XCOR."

The Board of Editors of Scientific American magazine selected XCOR for inclusion in its first Scientific American 50. According to Scientific American, "This new award honors 50 individuals, teams, companies, or associations whose accomplishments during the previous year demonstrate they have a clear progressive view of the technological future, and the leadership, knowledge, and expertise to make that vision a reality." Scientific American further stated they were delighted that XCOR emerged as their selection for Company in Transportation for its innovative work on rockets and on the EZ-Rocket in particular. The Scientific American 50 will be featured in the magazine's December issue appearing on newsstands November 18.

Popular Science magazine has chosen the XCOR EZ-Rocket to receive a 2002 Best of What's New Award. Each year, Popular Science reviews thousands of new products and innovations.
